Waveland Police Department Supports Officers Waveland Police Department was one of several departments severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005. Local Student Earns Police Benevolent Foundation Scholarship On December 1, 2006, the Police Benevolent Foundation (PBF), a 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in McDonough, Georgia, launched its inaugural scholarship program. Southern States PBA learned of a parole hearing to be held
on March 28, 2006, for the parole consideration of Israel Bradley.
