The Sand Hills/Cape Fear Chapter Election

 

 

The Sand Hills/Cape Fear Chapter election concluded during the chapter meeting held May 17, 2006. Due to a vacancy opened when the Sr. Vice President relocated to another area, the Senior Vice President position was filled during a chapter meeting vote held on September 7, 2006.


The Sand Hills/Cape Fear Chapter Leadership is as follows:

President – Burnis Wilkins, Lumberton Police Department

Senior Vice President – Ronnie Rising, Bladenboro Police Department

Vice President – Billy Strickland, Robeson County Sheriffs Office

Secretary – Will Merriman, Fayetteville Police Department

Chapter members recently expressed appreciation to two of their elected officials, Senator Tony Rand and Representative Rick Glazier, who were instrumental in passing HB 447, Creditable Service Retirement. (See other related article)
