To whom it may concern,
I was a young officer off to the police academy and
much to my surprise my PBA membership would save my
career. I was one week from graduation when I was
falsely accused of something that dismissed me from the
police academy and later dismissed me from my
department. I was a member of two organizations that
assist officers in situations. The first organization I
called would not assist me. I called the PBA and they
had an attorney
take my case. Due to the PBA's assistance, I was able to
return to the police academy to become a certified
police officer. The PBA stayed true to their word and
was there for me when I needed it. I would recommend it
to all who qualify for it. There are many organizations
who talk about being there for you, but the PBA
definitely followed through. Thanks PBA for saving my
career.
