Mark
Jones is a deputy with the Wilson County
Sheriff’s Office and a 15 year Law Enforcement
Veteran. Two months ago, Mark was diagnosed with
malignant tumor in his chest, the cause of which
is cancer of the lymphatic system. Mark
underwent surgery this past Thursday, 5/12/05,
to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, the tumor
had spread into some vital areas and therefore,
some could not be removed.
Mark now faces a long and uncertain road to
recovery that will include chemotherapy and
radiation treatments. Mark is certain to be
unable to work for several months. In addition
to this, his wife will undoubtedly have to take
a great deal of time off work, without pay, as
Mark will not be able to care for himself for
quite some time.
An account has been established in hopes of
providing Mark and his family some assistance
with their living expenses during this difficult
period of time. We, as members of the Law
Enforcement Community, have the responsibility
to care for and assist our own when they
encounter catastrophic situations such as Mark
and his family are facing I would never ask
anyone to put their family in a situation where
they have to “go without”, but anything that we
can spare will help a great deal.
Depositions can be made in person or by mailing
a check or money order to “Wilson Bank & Trust”,
1444 Buddour Pkwy., Lebanon, Tn 37087. Deposits
should be made into the account of Mark Erwin
and Amy Gail Jones (Account #7191299).
On behalf of Mark, his family and friends, I’d
like to thank you all in advance for your
consideration and generosity in this matter.
