PBA member petitions U.S. Supreme Court on First Amendment retaliation issue

October 28, 2019

PBA member Mark McCaffrey, formerly employed by the Loudoun County (Va.) Sheriff?s Office, filed a petition for a writ of certiorari with the United States Supreme Court in September. McCaffrey and his PBA-assigned attorney, Robert J. Cynkar of the firm McSweeney, Cynkar & Kachouroff in Great Falls, Va., are pursuing civil relief for McCaffrey in regard to his December 2015 termination by Loudoun County Sheriff Mark Chapman.

Tennessee Police Benevolent Association Awards Scholarships

August 13, 2019

Tennessee PBA Division President Johnny Bohanan recently presented scholarship checks to the children/stepchildren of PBA members. Along with the Police Benevolent Foundation (PBF), the Tennessee PBA proudly awards scholarships to children/stepchildren of PBA members each year. This year, four students were selected to receive the PBF scholarship. They are: Mason Crosser, Morgan McClure, Ashlynn Malone and Christopher Rickman.
