HB 591 Update

HB 591 (POAB Funding) was tabled in the House Retirement Committee on January 15, 2016. While the bill is not dead, it is in serious trouble. It became very clear early in committee hearing that there was not enough votes to pass out of committee with the very small motor vehicle tax (.0025%). The chairman graciously asked for a motion to table so there is still a chance it may come up for a vote.
