House Bill 1433 (In Line of Duty Death Benefits)

This bill has passed the legislature and has been signed into law by the Governor. The new law will take effect July 1, 2014, and raises the death benefit of officers killed in the line of duty to $100,000.00
 
Thanks to all of you who supported this legislation by calling or emailing your representatives and senators or coming to the press conference at the capitol back in January to support this legislation.
