North Carolina's Largest Law Enforcement Association endorses McCrory for Governor at press conference

The North Carolina Police Benevolent Association recently held a series of candidate interviews for those candidates seeking election for various offices. During the interview process, Governor Pat McCrory demonstrated why his experience and values make him uniquely qualified to represent the citizens of North Carolina. The North Carolina Police Benevolent Association held a press conference announcing their endorsement of Governor McCrory on Thursday, August 25th in Raleigh, NC.

Governor McCrory also demonstrated to the North Carolina PBA that he is committed to making strong, effective law enforcement a priority in his campaign. That is why the NCPBA is proud to announce their support by endorsing Governor McCrory.

Upon notification of his endorsement from the North Carolina PBA, Governor McCrory said, “It is a dangerous time to be a law enforcement officer, and they deserve more than lip service and politically correct nonsense from politicians. Our men and women in blue deserve our full respect, appreciation and support. I proudly stand with the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association and all of our law enforcement officers who walk the thin blue line to ensure our communities are safe. I am honored to receive the endorsement from this prestigious organization.”

President of the North Carolina Division Randy Byrd said, “We are proud to endorse Pat McCrory in his re-election bid for Governor. Governor McCrory recently went through a strenuous process where he responded to tough questions and addressed critical issues of importance to law enforcement officers. The PBA was impressed by his performance, proven track record, and his vision for law enforcement. A vote for Governor McCrory is a vote for the men and women of law enforcement and for the citizens they selflessly serve each and every day in communities throughout North Carolina.”
