Praying for Baton Rouge

A message from SSPBA President Chris Skinner on yesterday's tragic events in Baton Rouge, LA.

"It is with a heavy heart that we are once again grieving the tragic loss of three of our own at the hands of pure hatred.  These senseless attacks on law enforcement officers are attacks on our society as a whole.  It is a sad time in our nation when those officers that give up so much to protect our communities become targets of such evil acts.  Our elected leaders must stop legitimizing those who want to harm law enforcement and stand up and show their support for those brave officers who go out to serve and protect their communities. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the city of Baton Rouge and all of the families that lost a loved one at the hands of hate yesterday.  We must stand united as a country to show our support for our peacemakers and those communities in which they protect and serve.”

-Chis Skinner, Southern States Police Benevolent Association President.
