The Tennessee Police Benevolent Association Endorses Bill Lee for Governor

The Tennessee Police Benevolent Association recently held a series of candidate interviews for those candidates seeking election for various offices. During the interview process, Bill Lee demonstrated why his experience and values make him uniquely qualified to represent the voters of Tennessee. 

Bill Lee also demonstrated to the Tennessee PBA that he is committed to making strong, effective law enforcement a priority in his campaign. That is why the TNPBA is proud to announce their support by endorsing Bill Lee for Tennessee Governor. Bill Lee is a proud business owner and continuously works to improve the community.
Upon notification of his endorsement from the Tennessee PBA, Bill Lee said: I am proud to be endorsed by the Tennessee Police Benevolent Association. I am humbled and pleased to be endorsed by law enforcement officers.”

House Bill 937 Passed into Law

We are pleased that HB0937 was passed into law yesterday in Tennessee. HB0937 is the bill that increases the pay supplement from $600 to $800 for police officers and firefighters in Tennessee who complete 40 hours of in-service training. This is something that Tennessee PBA has advocated for, for several years.

TNPBA and PBF Deliver Check to Injured Officer

Following a brutal attack while on duty, Knoxville Police Department Officer B.K. Hardin is now recovering. Earlier this week, TNPBA Knox County Chapter Senior Vice President Kenny Bradley delivered a check to Officer Hardin. In November, the Police Benevolent Foundation and the Tennessee Division of the Southern States PBA opened a fund to raise money to help Officer Hardin. The community, locally and nationally, showed their support for Officer Hardin and he could not be more grateful.
