Fairfax County Chapter makes endorsements for Fairfax County Board of Supervisors

Recently, political screenings were conducted for the office of Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. The following candidates participated in the screenings, and your PBA board has elected to endorse their campaigns. The election for these offices will be held in November 2015. 

Chairman - Sharon Bulova

Sully - John Guevara

Mt. Vernon - Dan Storck

Mason - Mollie Loeffler

West Springfield - Pat Herrity
 

Lee - Jeff McKay

Questions asked of the candidates were developed by our membership and the answers the candidates gave were recorded by the screening committee. These endorsements were given after careful consideration of each candidate that was involved in the races based on their responses and their presentation at the screening. The PBA does not give out blind endorsements, our endorsement process is designed to clearly identify the best candidate for the office. The process makes the endorsement legitimate because it is based on sound evidence presented by each candidate. Each candidate that is endorsed answered the screening questions in a manner that is most beneficial to our members. 

What we ask of you:  We need people to help with the campaigns of the candidates that we have endorsed, so what we are looking for is volunteers. We have a PAC fund and a PAC committee but we still need help and that help can come from the entire membership. This is very important to all of us as we move forward. We understand we all have commitments but this should be a priority for all of us as this will affect us for years to come. At the end of August or early September we will be having our political screenings for state delegates and senate. If you would like to be part of this screening process please let me know and I will keep you in the loop for when and where they will take place.
