Hampton Chapter makes key endorsements

The Hampton Chapter of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association is proud to support and endorse Molly Ward for Hampton City Mayor and William “Billy” Hobbs and Theresa Schmidt for City Council. PBA members spent considerable time at the polls handing out literature for our candidates. We are very pleased to report that Ms. Ward was re-elected as Mayor and Mr. Hobbs was elected to City Council. Ms. Theresa Schmidt made a strong showing, barely missing election to a council seat, but we stand ready to support her in her future endeavors.
We are currently working with our endorsed candidate for Hampton Commonwealth Attorney Dee Vantree-Keller. The Democratic Primary for this office will be held on June 12, 2012. Please contact your Chapter Board for more information, how to obtain a yard sign and to find out how else you can help as we work to get Ms. Vantree-Keller elected!!

On September 18th the Hampton Chapter conducted its political screening for the upcoming November elections for the House of Delegates and the Hampton Commonwealth Attorney.
