The North Mecklenberg Chapter of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association Endorses Charles Jeter and John Bradford

The North Mecklenberg Chapter of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association recently held a series of candidate screenings for those candidates seeking election for various offices. During the interview process, Charles Jeter and John Bradford demonstrated why their experience and values make them uniquely qualified to represent the voters of District 92 and District 98.

Charles Jeter and John Bradford also demonstrated to the North Mecklenberg Chapter of the North Carolina PBA that they are committed to making strong, effective law enforcement a priority in their campaign. That is why the North Mecklenberg Chapter of the NCPBA is proud to announce their support by endorsing Charles Jeter and John Bradford for Districts 92 and 98.

President of the North Carolina PBA North Mecklenberg Chapter Tom Slymon said, “Charles Jeter and John Bradford are deeply rooted in the community today and the North Carolina PBA is proud to put our full support behind him and we ask that you do the same. A vote for Charles Jeter and John Bradford is a vote for the men and women of law enforcement and the citizens they serve.”

The North Carolina Police Benevolent Association is a division of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association, Inc., a not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to improving the law enforcement profession.  PBA members are full-time or retired employees of the various federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement and correctional agencies in North Carolina.  This professional association, funded by membership dues and citizen contributions, provides legal, legislative, disciplinary and other representation to member officers as well as an accidental death benefit to members’ beneficiaries.  The PBA prohibits members from engaging in or condoning any strike by law enforcement officers, electing instead to represent members through aggressive political action. The North Mecklenburg Chapter of NCPBA is Set to Hold Community Holiday Food Drive

The North Mecklenburg Chapter of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association (NCPBA) is coordinating a canned food drive on Saturday, December 20th from noon to 5 p.m., at the Wal-Mart in Huntersville, NC (11145 Bryton Town Center Drive.) Off-duty police officers from Huntersville and Davidson will be collecting canned goods in front of the store to benefit the Ada Jenkins Center and the Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen. Officers will fill the Huntersville Police Department?s colorful DARE Truck with donations from shoppers.
