PBA member petitions U.S. Supreme Court on First Amendment retaliation issue
October 28, 2019 PBA member Mark McCaffrey, formerly employed by the Loudoun County (Va.) Sheriff?s Office, filed a petition for a writ of certiorari with the United States Supreme Court in September. McCaffrey and his PBA-assigned attorney, Robert J. Cynkar of the firm McSweeney, Cynkar & Kachouroff in Great Falls, Va., are pursuing civil relief for McCaffrey in regard to his December 2015 termination by Loudoun County Sheriff Mark Chapman. |

Tennessee Police Benevolent Association Awards Scholarships
August 13, 2019 Tennessee PBA Division President Johnny Bohanan recently presented scholarship checks to the children/stepchildren of PBA members. Along with the Police Benevolent Foundation (PBF), the Tennessee PBA proudly awards scholarships to children/stepchildren of PBA members each year. This year, four students were selected to receive the PBF scholarship. They are: Mason Crosser, Morgan McClure, Ashlynn Malone and Christopher Rickman. |
