The NCPBA Announces Lawsuit Against the North Carolina Department of Public Safety on Behalf of Members
June 25, 2018 On June 25, 2018, the NCPBA held a press conference in Raleigh, NC to announce the filing of a lawsuit on behalf of our members against the Department of Public Safety. This suit has been filed due to what we believe to be a deliberate and pervasive scheme by DPS administrators to deny benefits to our members that were supported and passed into law by state legislators. |

Pasquotank Memorial Shadow Boxes
April 25, 2018 Carla Elkins and Eric Brainard prepared and presented a presentation in downtown Elizabeth City on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the waterfront gazebo to honor the fallen officers of Pasquotank Correctional Institution. The families of the murdered Pasquotank Correctional employees? families were honored with memorial shadow boxes. It was a small outdoor program to honor and show support for the Pasquotank Correctional employees who lost their lives from the incident on October 12, 2017. |
