Alabama PBA Chapter co-sponsors training event
September 30, 2016 The Alabama State Law Enforcement Officer?s Chapter co-sponsored a one-day training event on September 27, 2016. The training event took place in Oxford, AL with the Oxford Police Department. The class was titled ?ISIS and the Emerging Terrorism Threat? and gave officers 8 A.P.O.S.T. credit hours. PBA Recruiters Kris Jarvis and Nick Meadows were also in attendance. They spoke to the class about the benefits of a PBA membership. |
PBA makes endorsements for Supreme Court and Court of Appeals
September 26, 2016 The North Carolina Police Benevolent Association recently held a series of candidate interviews for those candidates seeking election to the North Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. During the screening process, the following candidates demonstrated why their experience and values make them uniquely qualified to represent the voters of North Carolina. They also demonstrated that they are committed to the rule of law and making fair and impartial decisions from the bench. |
Senior Vice President of NCPBA and President of Mountain Chapter Training Through Christ
September 26, 2016 On September 9, 2016, officers from around the United States went with TACTICA (Teaching Authorities Christian Truth in Central America) Ministries to Ecuador to train officers and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. The officers being trained were an elite unit in the Ecuadorian National Police called Grupo De Operaciones Especiales (GOE).Part of this year?s group was Brandon McGaha, Senior Vice President of the North Carolina State Division of the SSPBA and President of the North Carolina Mountain Chapter. |
